These terms apply to your use of ForeStrokes at forestrokes.com. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

The service

ForeStrokes is an invitation-only beta for recording golf rounds, comparing scores, tracking group game calculations and sharing round records. Features and availability can change. Keep your own copy of important results.

Your account and contributions

Use an account you control and keep your sign-in secure. Submit accurate information to the best of your knowledge. Only upload photos and other information you have permission to share, including permission from people shown in a photo. Do not use the service to harass people, impersonate another player, upload unlawful content, bypass access restrictions or interfere with the service.

You retain your rights in content you submit. You allow ForeStrokes and its service providers to store, process and display that content as needed to provide the features you use. You are responsible for the links and invitations you share. A public round link can be viewed and forwarded by anyone who receives it.

Scores, attestations and group games

Scores and player attestations depend on information provided by players. They are not an official handicap certification or a guarantee that a round was played as recorded. A cryptographic timestamp can provide evidence that a record existed; it does not establish the truth of that record.

Group ledgers record calculations between players. ForeStrokes does not collect, hold or transfer stakes or settle those obligations. Use these features only where your activity is permitted, and resolve disagreements directly with the other players.

Beta limits and availability

The current beta has upload and storage limits. Photos may be refused when a limit is reached or the service cannot verify available capacity. If a photo quota is reached, you can choose to finish the pending round without the remaining photos. Already uploaded photos stay attached. Check the app's save result before closing a round. Connectivity, hosting or authentication interruptions can affect saving and access. Do not rely on uninterrupted availability or on the app as your only record.

Privacy and leaving the service

The Privacy notice explains what information is used and how to request access, correction or deletion. You can stop using the app at any time. Access may be suspended for abuse or to protect the service. Publicly copied records and permanent blockchain timestamps cannot be recalled.
